  • Benoit was a first-ballot honoree in her first year eligible for induction after posting career numbers across the board that are indicative of the legacy she left behind on the court.
  • She was the very first All-American in the volleyball program’s history, helping lay the foundation for a perennial Sunshine State Conference contender and NCAA Championship South Regional qualifier while flourishing in coach Courtney Draper’s system.
  • Benoit began her career as the SSC Freshman of the Year and went on to become a four-time all-conference selection, earning first team accolades as both a sophomore and a senior. She was also honored as part of the AVCA All-South Region Team in her final campaign.
  • Benoit is the program’s all-time leader in kills (1,747) and ranks fourth all-time in digs (1,326). She was also a team captain as a senior and a three-time selection as the team’s Most Valuable Player.
  • One of her favorite moments as a student-athlete includes beating Minnesota-Duluth when the non-conference opponent was ranked 11th nationally in 2009.
  • She graduated from Eckerd in 2010 with a degree in Sociology. She later acquired her Master’s in Public Administration from VSU while working as a graduate assistant.
  • Benoit is currently the Assistant Volleyball Coach at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida.
