  • Kristina began her career at Eckerd College as a pitcher for the softball team in 2002.
  • When she graduated in 2005 with a degree in psychology, the right-hander had amassed 766.2 innings pitched in 142 games. Both are top record holdings in program history. The hard throwing pitcher owns the first, second and third spots for strikeouts in a season and is second in single season wins with 13 (2004) and third on the career wins list with a total of 27.
  • Lemon is the all-time strikeout holder for the Tritons with 507 punch-out’s, 300 more than the runner-up.
  • Her softball career did not end after her time at Eckerd. While in medical school, Lemon played on the softball team at The University of Western Ontario and won four regular season league championships, two provincial gold medals, one silver medal, and one bronze medal.
  • Kristina received her Doctor of Medicine from Western University. She then went on to complete her residency at Memorial University of Newfoundland and a fellowship at the University of Ottawa.She currently resides in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania working as a Transplant Surgery Fellow at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.
