Eckerd College Athletics Hall of Fame

Blake began his basketball career at Eckerd when he first stepped on the court during the 1981-82 season.
When he completed his career in 1985 he was second all-time in field goals made, knocking down 690 shots during his time on the court.
Blake also holds second place for total points scored with a total of 1,660 during his time at Eckerd.
Not only was Blake a solid offensive player, but he also finished with great defensive numbers. Blake pulled down 787 career rebounds and totaled 93 blocked shots, holding fourth and fifth place, respectively, in school history.
Blake is top 10 throughout the record book in numerous categories for single season totals as well as career numbers.
During the 1982-83 season, Blake boasted the best year of his career. Referred to as "a rugged inside force" and an "All-America candidate" by The Evening Independent, George captured All-Conference and All-South Region honors.
