Eckerd College Athletics Hall of Fame

Grimm played for Eckerd’s men’s basketball team from 1962-1966 as one of the teams best defensive players.
Grimm was named captain of the 1965-1966 team with a season record of 12-5.
He graduated from Eckerd in 1966 with a degree in History and in 1969 received his Doctorate in Philosophy, Educational Leadership and Administration from Florida State University.
Grimm also graduated from Harvard’s Governmental Leadership program in 1986.
Grimm has a background in the healthcare field as well where he worked with both the University of South Florida and the University of West Florida. He also regularly presents at the Florida Public Health Leadership institute.
He continues to serve his community through a variety of youth and healthcare programs, such as the Suncoast Practice and Research Collaborative (SPARC) and the Henry and Rilla White Foundation.
He has been the President and Chief Executive Officer of The REGIS Group in Pensacola, Florida for 25 years.
