ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - Three Tritons -
Megan Diaz,
Olivia Johnson, and
Brandilyn Reymer - were selected to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Annual Academic All-District Softball Team, as announced by the organization on Tuesday, May 28.
Diaz, an outfielder from Miami, Florida, boasts a 3.62 GPA in Psychology. Diaz played in 44 games this season with a .205 batting average, nine RBIs, and seven stolen bases. She is a three-time recipient of the SSC Spring Commissioner's Honor Roll and a recipient of the D2ADA Academic Achievement Award.
Johnson, a pitcher from Bentley, Louisiana, holds a 3.84 grade-point average in Biology. She made 21 appearances in the circle with a 4-8 record and a 2.66 ERA this year. She is a recipient of the SSC Spring Commissioner's Honor Roll and D2ADA Academic Achievement Award.
Reymer, a pitcher from Ashland, Ohio, bolsters a 3.8 GPA in Human Development. Reymer pitched in 19 games with over 59.1 innings in the circle and a 3.54 ERA.
The 2024 Academic All‐District® Softball Team, selected by CSC, recognizes the nation's top student‐athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Student-athletes must carry a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher in order to qualify for selection. The CSC Academic All‐America® program separately recognizes softball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
