ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - The Eckerd women's sailing team placed ninth at the SAISA Women's Top 12 Invite at the Doyle Sailing Center over the weekend.
Eckerd finished with 194 points, while the University of South Florida won with 52 points.
Lily Schwartz and
Eloise Weiss composed the A division, finishing with 73 points in eighth. The tandem finished in the top five in four races, highlighted by a victory in race three.
Sophie Leduc and
Addisyn Petrulli led the B division with 121 points and an 11th-place finish.
Eckerd returns to the water next weekend at the Greg Popp Trophy in Daytona Beach, Florida.
