ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - The Eckerd women's basketball team announced the newest addition to the 2021 signing class with transfer Hannah Wentworth.
Wentworth, a 5-foot-8 guard from Auckland, New Zealand, spent this season at Utah State Eastern. She played in all 20 games with three starts while averaging 9.4 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game.
"Hannah will fit our offense great with her ability to extend the defense and shoot with range," said head coach

She also had a standout prep career playing for Rangitoto College in New Zealand, where she won both the 2017 and 2019 Representative National Championship. In the 2019 season, Wentworth averaged 24.0 points, 10.0 assists, and 6.0 rebounds per game while shooting 53 percent from 3-point range and 42 percent from the field.
She joins fellow 2021 signees Macie Knapp, Lauryn Vieira, Sofia Persson, and Natalie Kalaydjiev.
