ATLANTA, Ga. -- Ieva Korzane and
Emma Egan of Eckerd women's basketball have been named 2025-26 Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) All-Americans, the organization announced Wednesday afternoon. It is the first time in program history the Tritons have boasted more than one selection. Both were recognized on the Honorable Mention list.
Korzane, a First Team All-SSC selection and D2CCA All-Region selection, was the Tritons top scorer during the season at 16.3 points per game. The senior scored in double figures 25 times this season, including a 33-point performance in a win over No. 4 Nova Southeastern that helped land her SSC Player of the Week recognition. Korzane also ranked second on the team in assists and averaged 4.0 rebounds per game from the point guard position. She sat fourth in the conference in scoring this season and fifth in field goal percentage at 52 percent. Korzane also recently earned CSC Academic All-District honors and will advance to the national ballot for Academic All-American.
Egan was also a First Team All-SSC and D2CCA All-Region honoree for the Tritons. She appeared in 32 games and made 32 starts, averaging a near double-double of 13.7 points and 9.8 rebounds per game. She posted 15 double-doubles on the year, which included a 20-point, 14-rebound effort in a win over Tampa back in December. Egan ranked 11th in the conference in scoring, first in rebounding, 10th in field goal percentage, ninth in assists, and top 20 in steals. She recently earned CSC Academic All-District honors and will advance to the national ballot for Academic All-American.
Across all organizations, Korzane and Egan are now the sixth and seventh All-American in women's basketball program history.
