ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – The Florida Tech Panthers (16-3, 5-2) used a 12-0 run late in the second half to clinch the win, as they defeated the Eckerd College women's basketball team 57-44 on Saturday.
Panthers guard Ashton McClairen led all scorers with 19 points. Two other Florida Tech players scored in double figures in the game.
The Tritons (10-7, 4-4) turned the ball over 29 times. Florida Tech scored 25 points off of turnovers.

Ashley Lutz led the Tritons with 16 points.
