Biography
2010-11: Was a second-team All-Sunshine State Conference selection for the third straight year...Was also named to Capital One Academic All-District 3 third team...Led Tritons in scoring (12.4 ppg) and assists (83)...Also paced squad in field goal percentage (46.9)...Scored 20 points or more four times, including season-high 24 in win at Nova Southeastern on Feb. 12...Scored 23 points in final game of career in SSC Tournament semifinals against Florida Southern...Was named to SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll following spring semester.
2009-10: Was a second-team All-Sunshine State Conference selection after leading the Tritons with 14.3 points per game...Also led Eckerd in assists (83) and steals (43) and was third on team in rebounding (4.1 per game)...Scored her 1,000th career point on Feb. 6 against Nova Southeastern -- making her just the seventh Triton in program history to score 1,000 points...Scorerd a career-high 29 points in Feb. 13 victory at Florida Tech...Scored 20 points or more six times and averaged 23.6 ppg during three-game stretch Feb. 6 through 13...Scored in double figures in 22 of 25 games....Management major was named to SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll in the spring.
2008-09: Started all 29 games for the Tritons while averaging 14.2 points and 2.34 steals per contest...An All-SSC Second Team selection after being tabbed to the SSC All-Freshman team the previous year...Finished as the SSC's fourth-leading scorer and second in the league in steals...Registered back-to-back season-high performances of 24 points each at St. Thomas (12/2/08) and West Florida (12/5/08)...Scored in double figures in all but two of the Tritons' games...Over-the-shoulder shot-clock-beating shot in an 18-point performance against Saint Leo (1/21/09) was featured on ESPN SportsCenter's Home Video segment.
2007-08: Was named to the SSC All-Freshman team after averaging 11.9 points per game, which was good for 12th in the league...Also ranked fourth in steals (2.75 spg) and was seventh in field goal percentage (47.9)...Had a season-best 26 points at Nova Southeastern on Jan. 12 and had 25 points in SSC quarterfinals against Nova on March 5...Led Tritons in scoring three times and averaged 11 ppg in SSC play.
High School: Played for Coach Joe Lang at Bishop Ready High School in Grove City, Ohio and was a two-time team MVP…Earned All-Conference nods all four years and was a three-time All-District and All-Ohio selection...Played on Capital City Comets AAU team.
Personal: Daughter of Sam Lutz and Mary Jeanne England … born February 12th … Majoring in business management...Has two brothers, Bernie and Chris, and a sister (Samantha) … Sister was an All-American gymnast for the University of Florida and graduated from UF in 2007… A fan of LeBron James and The Ohio State Buckeyes...Enjoys baking and watching movies when she is not attending class or practicing …Chose Eckerd because of the location, the coaches, and the team.
