MELBOURNE, Fla. -- Brandilyn Reymer and
Ella Coiner have swept the SSC weekly honors for Eckerd softball. Reymer was selected as Pitcher of the Week for the fourth time this season, while Coiner earned her second Player of the Week recognition.
Reymer appeared in two games over the weekend in the team's sweep of Florida Southern. She pitched a complete game in both, allowing just seven hits combined and two runs across the two games. Reymer had 19 strikeouts in the series, including 12 in the finale.Â
Coiner homered in all three games in the series and added one triple. She went 5-for-7 with four extra-base hits, and reached base three times via, two of which were intentional. Coiner added five runs scored and six RBI to her weekend total. It is the second time this season she has earned Player of the Week honors from the SSC.
