ST. PETERSBURG -- Reggie Fear of the Eckerd men's golf team has moved up to No. 1 in the national in the latest rankings by Clippd announced on Wednesday.
Fresh off a No. 2 ranking last week, Fear tied for second at the competitive Bobcat Invitational on Monday and Tuesday hosted by Georgia College. The second-place finish gave him his fourth top-four finish of the season and puts him at a 54.88 score by Clippd's metrics, overcoming a familiar face from the SSC from Florida Southern for the top spot.
Fear is the first-ever No. 1 ranked golfer for the Eckerd program.
