EATONTON, Ga. -- The Eckerd men's golf team earned a fourth place finish at the Bobcat Invitational on Monday and Tuesday out of 14 teams.
Weather conditions allowed just two rounds of golf to be played across the two-day tournament.
Reggie Fear, who posted a 69 in round one for 1-under par, finished in a tie for second with a score of 139 (-1) after shooting even on Tuesday.
Tyler Van Dusen earned a top-20 placement in 19th with a score of 145, while
Henry Wigg placed in 28th one stroke behind Van Dusen. Wigg posted a score of 69 in round one to tie Fear for the team's best single-round performance.
Two strokes behind Wigg was
Luke Kusserow, who placed in 37th.
Josh DiZinno rounded out the lineup for the Tritons in 52nd.
The Tritons will be back in action next week for the Sharks Shootout at Grande Oaks GC in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
