DELAND, Fla. -- The Eckerd Tritons beach volleyball team wrapped up its stay at the Stetson Spring Fling on Saturday, falling to the College of Charleston Cougars by a score of 4-1 before dropping the finale to the No. 14 ranked Stetson Hatters by a final of 5-0.
Against College of Charleston, the Cougars struck first with wins at No. 3 and 4 for the early 2-0 lead.

Addie White put the Tritons on the board with a straight-set victory at No. 2, defeating their opponents by a score of 21-15, 23-21. Eckerd forced a third set in each of the final two matches to make it a trio of three-set contests for the day, but fell in both.
Stetson downed Eckerd in all five matches to take the final battle of the weekend.
The Tritons will be back in action March 6-7 for the Tampa Invitational.
