ORLANDO, Fla. -- Reggie Fear of the Eckerd men's golf team has been selected as the recipient of the Sunshine State Conference Men's Golfer of the Week award.
Fear earned this honor after his performance at the Griffin Invite in Petersburg, Va. last Monday and Tuesday, finishing for a tie for first after three rounds of play. After two rounds on Monday, Fear entered Tuesday's action in the lead for the Tritons and ended in a tie for first with Paul Esnault of Catawba. Fear shot 6-under par across the three rounds, including a -5 performance in round two. He ended the tournament with a score of 210.
This marks the second time Fear has been named the SSC Men's Golfer of the Week in his career.
