MELBOURNE, Fla. - The Eckerd volleyball team was selected to finish sixth in the 2024 Sunshine State Conference preseason poll.
The Tritons received 58 points following a 22-9 record last season, with a trip to the NCAA Tournament. The Tritons produced All-Americans Stella Antypa, who returns for her senior year. She averaged 2.95 kills and 3.12 digs per set last season.
Eckerd produced an 11-match win streak from October 6-31, EC's longest win streak since 2011. The team ranked ninth nationally in block per set and 14th in Division II in total blocks.
The Tritons begin the 2024 season at home for the annual Eckerd Classic, hosting Emory & Henry at 2:30 on Friday, September 6.
