Eckerd Concludes Season at SSC Championship

BOCA RATON, Fla. - The Eckerd men's golf team capped the season at the SSC Championship at the Osprey Point Golf Club on Sunday through Tuesday. Eckerd finished 10th with rounds of 295-306-310 for a three-round total of 911. 

Tyler Van Dusen (76-71-76) 40th

• Van Dusen and Zizzo led Eckerd on par-3s with a 3.25 average. 
• Van Dusen led the team in pars with 35. He also carded six birdies.

Josh DiZinno (68-77-81) 44th 

• DiZinno led Eckerd on par 5s with a 4.83 scoring average. 
• DiZinno added 31 pars and a team-leading eight birdies. 

Nicholas Zizzo (73-80-77) T47 

• Zizzo and Van Dusen led Eckerd on par-3s with a 3.25 average. 
• Zizzo posted 32 pars and six birdies. 

Shane Darby (78-78-76) 49th 

• Darby added 28 pars and seven birdies. 

Aidan Dimakis (85-84-82) 50th 

• Dimakis added 23 pars and four birdies. 

NOTES AND NUMBERS 

• Michael Hay of Nova Southeastern won the individual title with an 11-under 205. 
• Barry won the team title with an 18-under 846. 
• DiZinno sat in fifth place following his 68 in the first round. 
• Eckerd's opening round 295 is its lowest single round at the SSC Championships since 2013 when EC also shot a 295. It's four strokes off the Tritons season-best mark. 
• Dimakis made his collegiate debut.
