ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - The Eckerd volleyball team was well-represented on the annual College Sports Communicators (CSC) annual Academic All-District Volleyball Team, with four Tritons receiving the honor:
Stella Antypa,
Gabi Jedrzejczak,
Nyla Muskovin, and
Hayden Nash.
Stella Antypa, a senior from Thessaloniki, Greece, bolsters a 3.61 grade point average in business administration. She played in all 28 matches and led the team with 3.01 kills per set while averaging 3.22 digs and 0.28 aces per set. She was tabbed to the All-SSC Third Team this year. She is a two-time recipient of the SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll and was named to the D2ADA Academic Achievement Award last year.
Gabi Jedrzejczak, a junior from Szamotuly, Poland, holds a 3.52 GPA in business administration and management. She played in all 28 matches, averaging 8.88 assists, 1.85 digs, and 0.26 aces per set.
Nyla Muskovin, a junior from Fraser, Michigan, maintains a 3.74 grade point average in animal studies and interdisciplinary arts. She played in 27 matches, averaging 2.13 kills and 1.37 digs per set. She is a two-time recipient of the SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll and was named to the D2ADA Academic Achievement Award last year.
Hayden Nash, a sophomore from Littleton, Colorado, holds a 3.67 GPA in marketing. She appeared in 28 matches this season, averaging 1.98 kills per set while hitting at a .285 percent clip. She was named to the SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll last year.
The 2024 Academic All‐District® Volleyball Team, selected by CSC, recognizes the nation's top student‐athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Student-athletes must carry a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher in order to qualify for selection. The CSC Academic All‐America® program separately recognizes volleyball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
