WINTER GARDENS, Fla. - The Eckerd men's golf team opened its fall slate at the National Preview at the Orange County National Country Club on Monday and Tuesday. 
Eckerd carded rounds of 315-299 on Monday, followed by 311 on Tuesday for a three-round total of 925 and a ninth-place finish. 
Josh DiZinno (76-75-77) T44
	- Tied for the team lead while ranking fifth in the field on par-3s with a 3.08 average.
- DiZinno led Eckerd with 37 pars. 
- He did well on the front nine each round, playing the opening round at 1-over and the next two at even-par. 
Shane Darby (79-73-80) T47 
	- Darby carded 34 pars. 
- He produced the lowest round among the squad with a second-round 73.  
Nick Zizzo (79-75-78) T47 
	- Tied for the team lead while ranking fifth in the field on par-3s with a 3.08 average.
- Zizzo carded seven birdies. 
Andrew Demuth (81-76-76) T49 
	- Demuth led Eckerd on par-5s with a 4.67 average. 
- He led the team with eight birdies. 
Joe Lagana (91-78-85) 51st
NOTES AND NUMBERS 
	- Adam Alvarez of Florida Southern won the individual title with a 10-under 206. 
- Florida Southern won the team title with a 12-under 852.

Eckerd returns to the course on September 25-26 at the Jay Jennison International in Saint Augustine.
