ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - The Eckerd beach volleyball team is prepared to host its inaugural Battle On The Bay Invitational on Friday and Saturday at the Northshore Volleyball Courts in downtown St. Petersburg.
Eckerd welcomes five programs to the event, and all teams will play five matches in a round-robin format over the tournament's two days.
The tournament begins Friday morning at 8:45 as Jacksonville State (Ala.) University takes on Huntingdon (Ala.) College. Â The Tritons open play at 10:00 AM against Florida Atlantic.
