Box Score KISSIMMEE, Fla. - Spring Hill (Ala.) scored four times in the sixth inning and it proved to be the difference as the Badgers handed the Eckerd softball team a 4-0 defeat to close the weekend at the Diamond 9 Citrus Classic at Disney's ESPN Wide World of Sports.
The game was a battle of pitchers between EC's
Nikole Van Gennep and SHC's Danielle Clark. Â Van Gennep held the Badgers hitless through five innings while Clark retired the first seven batters she faced and only allow three runners to reach base in the first five innings.

Clark, meanwhile, continued to do her part in completing a two-hitter.
