No. 9 Lynn Sweeps Tritons in SSC Play

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The always difficult Sunshine State Conference struck once again as the Eckerd men's tennis team squared off with the ITA No. 9 Lynn Fighting Knights in Boca Raton.

In rare fashion, the Tritons (11-5, 0-3 SSC) dropped their second straight contest of the season as Lynn powered its way to a 9-0 sweep.

In his second match back from an injury, Alasdair Knox battled his way to a tight 8-5 loss at No. 6 singles. The first doubles team of Yosua Husodo and Victor Appelqvist also fought to an 8-5 decision but was unable to secure the early point for EC.

Eckerd's next matchup is scheduled for an 11:00 AM start on Sunday as the Webber International Warriors visit for the Bullard Courts for a rescheduled contest.
