2014-15 (Junior): Competed in three matches for the Tritons during his junior season…Teamed with Eddie Lewis during his only doubles match of the season, defeating a duo from Florida Southern 8-5 (Feb. 26).
2013-14 (Sophomore): Competed in seven contests for the Tritons during his sophomore campaign…With the help of his doubles partner Eddie Lewis, the duo took down nationally ranked Florida Tech in a close match that ended with a score of 8-6 (March 8).
2012-13 (Freshman): Recipient of the team's Triton Award, presented at the annual end-of-the-year athletics banquet...Took a singles match (7-5, 6-1) over Bentley University (March 11)…Earned a doubles victory alongside partner Madison Durley in an 8-1 decision over Florida Tech.
Prior to Eckerd: Attended the Hong Kong International School overseas to complete his prep career...Competed in soccer and was a three-time MVP of his tennis team...Coached by Andrew Towns.
Personal: Born June 24...Son of Rodney Cheng and Jacqueline Kwan...Has a younger sibling, Zoe...Enjoys soccer and playing the saxophone...Chose Eckerd over Florida Tech and the University of Hawai'i.
