2014-15 (Junior): Picked up six wins during singles play for the Tritons throughout his junior season…Competing primarily in the No. 3 spot in singles, he captured five victories...Won his only match at second singles 6-0, 6-3 which helped lift the team to a 8-1 victory over Merrimack (Mar. 10)…Paired with Yosua Adiyasa at first doubles...The tandem captured eight victories on the season, including a six match win streak from Mar. 4 through Mar. 14. 

2013-14 (Sophomore): Compiled 10 wins throughout the spring in his second year with the Tritons…Competing in the No. 3 spot in singles, took home four victories, including one against Hanover which helped lift the team to a 9-0 victory (Feb. 25)…Teamed up with Yosua Adiyasa, the duo took on some of the toughest pairs in the nation competing in the No. 1 slot…The dynamic duo took home three straight victories during the week of March 9^th, and a total of six wins throughout. 

2012-13 (Freshman): Named the team’s MVP at the end-of-the-year athletics banquet…Tied for the team lead with three singles wins and added three more in doubles action…Earned his first collegiate singles victory (6-3, 6-2) over Warner University (March 2)…Earned another singles victory (1-6, 6-1, 6-3) over Bentley University (March 11)…Won a singles match (6-2, 6-4) against Merrimack College (March 24)…Combined for a trio of doubles victories with partners Ben Levy and Luke Burton, earning 8-5, 9-7 and 8-4, decisions over Florida Tech, Chestnut Hill College and Bentley.

Prior to Eckerd: Competed for four years and was a two-time Florida state qualifier while competing at Eastside High School...Earned district and regional crowns during his sophomore and senior campaigns...First team all-county selection as a freshman...Concluded junior season as a district finalist...Coached by Donny Reeder and Dave Porter.

Personal: Born May 6...Son of Emory and Jennifer Springfield...Has three siblings, Blaise, Wallace and Kami...Enjoys nature, photography, spearfishing and working on his car...Chose Eckerd over the University of West Florida and Stetson University.
