Nikole Van Gennep's .370 average.Â

Josh Beauregard has been aggressive with his team on the basepaths this year so far. EC has swiped 27 bases in 15 games with 12 different players all recording at least one steal. Shere and Knox lead the team with five steals each. Conversely, the Tritons have only allowed five steals all season.
ABOUT THE HAWKS: Quincy (1-1) only has two games under its belt this season, playing a pair yesterday in Clermont with a 3-0 win over Tiffin (Ohio) and a 6-0 loss to Findlay (Ohio). Last year, the Hawks went 19-27 and were led by Rachel Scrum at the plate with a .396 average, 10 home runs and 35 RBIs.
ABOUT THE LAKERS: Lake Superior State has exploded at the plate in all three of its wins scoring 10, 13 and 19 runs respectively. All four of the Lakers' games this season have only gone five innings. The team certainly has power with six home runs so far led by Carly Banchiu with two.
