ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - The Eckerd women's basketball team will play its final home game on 2015 as the Tritons host Albany State (Ga.) tonight at 7:00 PM.

Live VideoABOUT THE GOLDEN RAMS- Albany State enters tonight's game with a record of 2-5 on the season and 2-0 in conference play in the SIAC. ASU has faced one common opponent with Eckerd, losing at home to Tampa by the score of 69-55.
- Artisha Holston, a 6-foot-1 junior, is the team's go-to player. She nearly averages a double-double on the season with 15.5 points and 9,7 rebounds per game. Holston has posted three double-doubles this year including a 13-point, 16-rebound performance in a win over LeMoyne-Owen (Tenn.) College.
- Senior guard Keidra Green also averages in double figures at 13.0 points per game. She has made 15 of the team's 19 3-pointers on the season.
ABOUT THE TRITONS- Eckerd is coming off a narrow 58-54 loss at Claflin (S.C.) on Saturday. Two of EC's three losses this year have been by four points or fewer.
- The Tritons have relied heavily on defense this season for their success. Eckerd ranks third in Division II in field goal percentage defense, holding opponents to 31.9 percent shooting, and 13th in scoring defense (53.9 points per game).
- Senior guard
Margaret Sundberg is the only Triton currently averaging in double-figures, scoring 11.3 points per game. She's been a reliable shooter from 3-point range, knocking down 43.2 percent of her attempts, and is 20-of-24 from the free throw line.
- Sophomore forward
Kacie Juday leads the team in rebounding (7.4 per game) and steals (1.5 per game). She also gets to the free throw line more than anyone else on the team with 37 attempts.

Ivana Grbic led Eckerd with 15 points while
Rana Thomas added 14. Sundberg had a solid game off the bench with nine points and six assists.
