ABOUT THE TARS
- Rollins has tested itself with its early-season schedule, facing two top-25 opponents and one just outside the top 25.  The Tars fell to No. 13 Union (Tenn.) in overtime in their season opener before knocking off West Florida and No. 20 Tampa.
- The Tars have three players averaging in double-figures, led by Marie Gilbert (13.0 ppg) and Julia Ingler (12.7 ppg).  Both are dangerous perimeter shooters with Gilbert shooting 42.9 percent from 3-point range and Ingler shooting 46.7 percent.  Jasmine Stone adds 11.3 points per game.
- Although opposing teams are shooting at a decent clip against Rollins (43.5 percent from the field, 40.4 from 3), the Tars have a +8.0 turnover margin and only give the ball up an average of 11 times per game.  The result has been considerably more scoring opportunities for Rollins.

ABOUT THE TRITONS
- Playing in close games has been a theme already this season for Eckerd.  With one exception, the Tritons have been able to close them out including a 64-56 overtime win on Saturday at Palm Beach Atlantic.  EC scored the final 10 points of the game for the win.
- The backcourt tandem of Margaret Sundberg (11.5 ppg) and Victoria Vine (11.0 ppg) leads the Triton offense.  Sundberg has been the team's most accurate shooter thus far from the floor and from 3-point range.  The 5-foot-8 Vine has been strong on the boards, averaging nine per game.
- Eckerd got solid performances off the bench on Saturday from newcomers Mariam Hannoun and Ashley Folsom.  Folsom scored 11 of her 13 points in the first half, while Hannoun led EC with 14 points.

LOOKING BACK
Eckerd will be looking for a bit of payback against Rollins tonight after the Tars ended EC's season last year with a 73-71 defeat in the NCAA South Region Quarterfinals.  The Tritons won both regular season contests.
