LAKELAND, Fla. – Florida Southern put four scorers in double figures and made 12 three-pointers in an 84-46 win over the visiting Eckerd College women's basketball team on Wednesday.
Emma Cannon scored a game-high 17 points, and Sofie Lundberg added 16, as FSC (11-2, 4-0 Sunshine State Conference) won its fifth straight.
The Mocs shot 44 percent from 3-point range and 46 percent overall. FSC held Eckerd (9-5, 3-2) to a 37 percent night.
Krystal Charles and Lotte Tobiasen each had 10 points to pace Eckerd, which was coming off a 72-71 win at No. 14 Rollins last Saturday.
FSC never trailed and jumped out to a 10-2 lead. The Mocs never led by less than double figures after the 15:56 mark of the first half.
The Tritons will play host to Nova Southeastern at 2 p.m. on Saturday at the McArthur Center.
