Women's golf finishes eighth at SSC Championship

BROOKSVILLE, Fla. -- The Eckerd Tritons women's golf team moved up one more spot on Tuesday in the final round of the SSC Championship to finish in eighth place.

Sophie Foulds continued to move the leaderboard to grab a top-10 finish in 10th, shooting a 74 (+2) to climb two spots. Foulds hit even-par on Monday to catapult 21 spots after her 81 in round one. Tallulah Brooks-Williams earned 19th overall after shooting under 80 in all three rounds. She ended the tournament with her best performance on Tuesday with a 75 to move up into the top 20. 

Aubane Statiotis secured 25th place and hit 4-over with a 76 on Tuesday to mirror her Monday score. Melissa Ball moved up seven spots after the final round with a 74 to land 39th overall. Sofia Dyhre rounded out the lineup with a +11 to end 47th. 

Eckerd finished with a score of 318.
