Women's golf moves up one spot after round two of SSC Championship

BROOKSVILLE, Fla. -- The Eckerd Tritons women's golf team saw a 12-stroke improvement on Monday in round two of the SSC Championship. The Tritons moved up one spot on the leaderboard and now sit in 9th overall.

Sophie Foulds tied for the second-best score of all golfers, shooting a 72 for even-par. She moved up 21 spots and now sits 13th overall. Foulds tallied four birdies on the front nine on Monday and leads the Tritons with a +9 score through two rounds. 

Tallulah Brooks-Williams still holds a top-25 spot after shooting +7 on Monday and sits in 22nd at +11 for the tournament. Aubane Statiotis jumped up three spots overall into a tie for 26th, shooting 4-over on Monday, while Sofia Dyhre improved by two strokes in round two to hold 40th. Melissa Ball also improved her score by two strokes on Monday as well.

Round three will begin tomorrow at 8 a.m.
