ORLANDO, Fla. – Melissa Ball and
Aubane Statiotis of the Eckerd women's golf team have been selected to the Sunshine State Conference's All-Conference Teams.
Ball, a Second Team selection, currently ranks No. 27 nationally and No. 17 regionally by Clippd. She owns a scoring average of 73.9 and has two top-three finishes this season for the Tritons. Ball holds a 564-170-22 record against SSC competition this season and has 29 head-to-head wins over top 25 opponents.
Statiotis, a Third Team selection, holds a 550-179-27 record against SSC golfers and has 24 wins head-to-head against top 25 individuals. The freshman is ranked No. 36 in Division II and No. 22 in the region. Statiotis has a scoring average of 73.8 with one top-three finish.
This marks the first time ever the Tritons women's golf program has had multiple All-SSC selections.
