LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Hannah Taylor,
Brandilyn Reymer, and
Ella Coiner have been named to the 2026 NFCA Division II Player and Pitcher of the Year watchlist announced Wednesday afternoon.
The list is broken down into the eight NCAA Regions (Atlantic, Central, East, Midwest, South, South Central, Southeast and West) with up to 15 student-athletes represented in each region. The list is compiled by the elected members of the NFCA Division II All-American Committee with one head coach representing each of the eight NCAA regions.
Taylor and Coiner are the top two hitters on the Tritons this season, both win an OPS over 1.400. Taylor is currently batting .495 with a school-record 17 doubles, seven home runs, and 50 runs batted in. Coiner is hitting .455 with 11 home runs, 10 doubles, four triples, and 42 RBI.
On the mound, Reymer is 13-4 on the season with 147 strikeouts in 114 innings pitched. She owns an ERA of 1.78 and an opponent batting average of .182.
Voted on by the NFCA's Division II All-American Committee, the 2026 NFCA Player of the Year and NFCA/Portolite Pitcher of the Year will be announced on May 27, a day prior to the start of the NCAA Division II National Championships. All student-athletes are eligible for the end-of-the-season award and do not have to be on this list to be considered.
