Eckerd baseball ranked for first time since 2019

LAKELAND, Fla. -- For the first time since the 2019 season, the Eckerd Tritons baseball team is ranked, appearing at No. 25 in the latest poll by National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA).

Eckerd received 40 points total to enter the top 25, one week after receiving votes in the poll. The Tritons are off to a 19-7 record and 9-3 mark in conference, already surpassing last year's overall win total by nine games.

Additionally, the Tritons are also ranked No. 4 in the latest South regional rankings, the second highest of any SSC team.
