Tyler Brashear named SSC Pitcher of the Week

MEBOURNE, Fla. -- Tyler Brashear of the Eckerd baseball team has been named the Sunshine State Conference Pitcher of the Week, the league announced Monday afternoon.

Brashear earned the win on the mound in game three of the Tritons' sweep of Nova Southeastern. He went seven innings and struck out 13, giving up just one hit and one run. After allowing a second-inning home run, he did not allow a base runner the rest of his outing.
