GREENWOOD, Ind. – Reggie Fear,
Tyler Van Dusen, and
Drew Campbell of Eckerd men's golf have been named College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District, the organization announced Tuesday afternoon.
The 2026 Academic All-District® at-large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in their sport and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes at-large honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Campbell, a sophomore from Tampa, Fla., is studying Business Administration at Eckerd. He appeared in six tournaments this season, including the conference championship, and was second on the team with a 74.5 scoring average. He shot a season-low round of 67 at the The Country Club of Petersburg in Petersburg, Va.
Van Dusen, a junior from Eden Prairie, Minn., is a major in International Business. He appeared in nine tournaments for the Tritons and had a scoring average of 76.0. He shot a season-best 70 at Lake Jovita CC in Saint Leo, Fla.
Fear, a sophomore from Surrey, England, was a First Team All-American this season and represented Eckerd at the NCAA South/Southeast regional in Valdosta, Ga. He ended as the conference's runner-up, ended the season ranked as the nation's No. 9 ranked golfer and qualified for his second straight NCAA regional appearance. He boasted a scoring average of 70.9, a single-season school record, and had one win and five top-three finishes. He was also a two-time SSC Men's Golfer of the Week award recipient, and reached the No. 1 spot in the nation at one point by Clippd. Fear will advance to the Academic All-American national voting ballot.
