TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- The Eckerd women's cross country team competed at the HOKA Nights of Thunder Race on Friday night at Apalachee Regional Park. The Tritons took ninth place overall out of 14 teams that scored.
Abigail Davidson led the group with a top-50 placement in 49th and a time of 21:59.40.
Summer Sorensen and
Hannah Workman finished in 73rd and 74th overall, respectively, clocking times of 24:07.98 and 24:13.98.
Tatum Thursby and
Evelyn Davis rounded out the top five for the Tritons inside the top 100 with sub-27 minute times.
As a team, Eckerd had 282 points, 10 ahead of Central Florida in 10th.
The Tritons will be back in action Oct. 3 for the Florida Runners Invitational in Lakeland, Fla.
