LAKELAND, Fla. -- The Eckerd Tritons women's cross country took fifth place at the FL Runners Invitational at Holloway Park on Friday morning.
Nathalia Mallo was the top performer for the Tritons in 15th place after finishing the 6k race in 25:17.70.
Abigail Davidson also earned a top-20 placement after ending in 17th with a time of 25:35.53.
Summer Sorensen's mark of 27:09.11 put her in 32nd overall, while
Hannah Workman was close behind in 36th with a final time of 27:51.26.
Rylan Rajewski rounded out the top five for Eckerd in 42nd after clocking a time of 29:44.11.
The Tritons will be back in action on Oct. 11 for the Ave Maria Invitational.
