ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - Eckerd baseball head coach Josh Beauregard '03 has announced that Cam Lanzilli '19 has returned to his alma mater as the Tritons' recruiting coordinator and pitching coach.
Lanzilli comes to Eckerd with experience at both the collegiate and professional levels.
Most recently, he spent the previous two years as the Lead Throwing Strategist with KineticPro Performance in Tampa and Director of Pitching at Ascent Athlete.
"I am thrilled to bring Cam on board as recruiting coordinator/pitching coach to the Eckerd College baseball staff," stated Beauregard. "Cam is an alumni who has worked and excelled at all levels, both amateur and professional, developing pitchers. His knowledge, experience, and passion for Eckerd College baseball make him a great fit to help propel our team moving forward."
He spent the 2022 season at Florida Southern as an assistant coach on the developmental team. He spent one year as a Player Development Coach with the Baltimore Orioles from 2022-23.
Lanzilli spent two years as a scout for Perfect Game US, scouting for the Los Angeles Angels.
He specializes in biomechanics, ball flight physics, arsenal development, and skill acquisition.

I'm excited to put my head down & get to work!" stated Lanzilli.
Lanzilli graduated from Eckerd in 2019. He was a three-year standout for the Tritons, having transferred in from UMass Lowell. He spent his first two seasons coming out of the bullpen before transitioning to a starter in his senior season, where Eckerd won the SSC Championship and made the NCAA Tournament for the first time in 32 years. Over his three years, he appeared in 57 games with an 8-4 mark over 108 innings.
