WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Drew Campbell and Thayne Thomas led the Eckerd men's golf team with a fifth and eighth-place finish at the Keiser Kup at the Okeeheelee Golf Course on Sunday through Tuesday.
The Tritons registered rounds of 292-309-294 for a three-round total of 895 for a fifth-place finish.
Drew Campbell 5th (74-73-70)
- Campbell led the field in par 3's with a 2.67 average.
- Campbell ranked 13th in the field with 33 pars. He added nine birdies, ranking fight in the field.
Thayne Thomas 8th (68-79-72)
- Thomas finished tied for second in the tournament in par 3's with a 2.83 stroke average.
- He led the team with 12 birdies, ranking third in the field.
Josh DiZinno 31st (72-81-71)
- DiZinno posted 29 pars and six birdies.
Reggie Fear 45th (78-79-76)
Luke Kusserow 60th (83-78-80)
NOTES AND NUMBERS
- Host Keiser won the team title with an 872.
- Nateeshvar Anatha Ganesh of Keiser won the individual title with a 207.
- Campbell's fifth-place finish was his second top-five finish of the year, placing second at the Shark Shootout on October 7-8.
- Thomas' 68 marked a career-low.
- Thomas' three-round 219 is also a career-low, 10 strokes off his best mark.
