Ataseven Tabbed to The CSC Academic All-District Team

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - Batu Ataseven was selected to the College Sports Communicators All-District Team as announced by the organization on Tuesday, May 14. 

Ataseven, from Istanbul, Turkey, boasts a 3.84 grade-point average in Business Administration. He played in all 18 matches this season with a team-leading 10 wins in No. 1 singles and 11 doubles wins with partner Christian Kearns in No. 1 doubles, including a victory over No. 5 Barry in doubles on March 16. 

Atatseven won five consecutive singles matches from March 5-19. 

The 2024 Academic All‐District® Tennis Team, selected by CSC, recognizes the nation's top student‐athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Student-athletes must carry a cumulative grade point average of 3.5  or higher in order to qualify for selection. The CSC Academic All‐America® program separately recognizes tennis honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
