Eckerd Places 42 Student-Athletes on SSC Fall Commissioner's Honor Roll

MELBOURNE, Fla. - The Eckerd fall athletic programs placed 42 student-athletes on the 2022 SSC Fall Commissioner's Honor Roll, released by the conference office on Tuesday, February 7.

A record total of 811 student-athletes were named to the honor roll from the 11 schools. It is the 10th consecutive record-breaking fall for the SSC Honor Roll. 

The Tritons' 42 honorees are three off the department record of 45 set in 2020. 

To be eligible for the Fall SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll, a student-athlete must post a minimum grade-point average of 3.20 on a scale of 4.00. Participants in the sports of men's and women's cross country, men's and women's soccer, and volleyball were eligible for the fall honor roll. 

This fall, EC produced a 3.29 department GPA and received the Presidents' Award for Academic Excellence for the 12th year in a row with an Academic Success Rate of 92 percent.
