DADE CITY, Fla. - The Eckerd men's golf team placed 17th with rounds of 307-299-313 for a three-round total of 919 at the Saint Leo Invitational at Lake Jovita Golf Club on Monday and Tuesday.
Shane Darby (77-74-75) T57
- Darby played the par-5's with a 4.67 average.
- Darby led the team in pars with 34.
- In the second round, Darby played holes No. 10-18 at 1-under.
Nick Zizzo (75-74-78) T61
- Zizzo tied with Josh DiZinno for the team lead on par-5 scoring with a 4.58 average.
- In the second round, Zizzo played holes No. 10-18 at even-par.
Josh DiZinno (74-74-81) T68
- DiZinno tied with Zizzo for the team lead on par-5 scoring with a 4.58 average.
- DiZinno led the team in birdies with 10.
- DiZinno carded an eagle on hole No. 2 in the first round.
- In the second round, DiZinno played holes No. 10-18 at 3-under.
Joe Lagana (81-83-79) 96
- Lagana carded 30 pars, ranking second on the squad.
Adam DiZinno (85-77-82) 97
- DiZinno registered 29 pars.
