WINTER PARK, Fla. - The Eckerd open sailing team finished 11th at the Lake Virginia Invitational in their final tune-up before the SAISA Fall Championships this weekend.
Eckerd finished with 237 points.
Lily Schwartz skippered the A Division with
Eloise Weiss as crew. The tandem placed 13th with 122 points. Their best finish was in race five, as they placed fourth.
Sophie Leduc skippered the B Division with
Addisyn Petrulli as crew, placing 10th with 110 points. Leduc and Petrulli placed third in race five.
Jacksonville won the regatta with 57 points.
Eckerd concludes the fall slate this weekend at the SAISA Championships. The women's championships are on Friday and Saturday at USF, and Eckerd will host the open championships on Saturday and Sunday.
