MELBOURNE, Fla. - After winning the Invite at Innisbrook,
Sandra Eriksson has been selected as the SSC Golfer of the Week.
Eriksson won the individual title with a career-low 214, breaking her old best by 17 strokes. She helped the Tritons win the team title as well, posting a program record three-round total of 887.
She opened up play with a career-low 71 before shooting a new career-low 67 in the second round. Her 67 is two strokes off the program record.
She followed with a 76 in the final round.
She led the field in birdies with 12 while adding 31 pars.
The award is the first of Eriksson's career.
Eckerd is in action on Monday and Tuesday at the Eagle Classic in Rock Hill, SC.
