Women's golf wraps up Lynn Invite

BOCA RATON, Fla. -- The Eckerd Tritons women's golf team wrapped up its final regular season tournament of the season on Monday and Tuesday, finishing in 11th place of 13 teams at Boca Woods CC.

Melissa Ball was the top finisher for the Tritons in 14th place overall, ending with a score of 225. Ball shot her best round on Tuesday, finishing with a score of 72, the top performance for a single round during the tournament for Eckerd. She improved in all three rounds, shooting 77 in round one and 76 in round two before her 72 in the final round.

Aubane Statiotis was next for the team in 34th with a score of 231. Statiotis improved from her round-one score of 79 with a 76 in both the second and third. Sofia Dyhre finished two strokes behind in 38th with a score of 233. Her 74 in round two was good for second-lowest score for the Tritons for a single round. Camile Padieu was next in 63rd, followed by Sophie Foulds in 73rd to round out the lineup.

Eckerd will next compete in the SSC Championships on April 12-14.
