ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - After serving 12 years as the Eckerd women's soccer head coach, Danielle Fotopoulos has stepped down from her position, effective immediately.
Fotopoulos joined the Tritons in 2010, compiling a 67-99-14 record in her tenure. She became the program's all-time wins leader in 2018.
She led the program to its first SSC Tournament berth in 2012, and in 2017 the Tritons reached a program-best No. 4 seed in the SSC Tournament.
An interim head coach will be announced later this week, and a national search for the head coaching position will begin at the conclusion of the 2022 season.
