ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - The Eckerd sailing team competed at the Rudkin Team Race at the Doyle Sailing Center over the weekend, placing seventh.
Eden Nykamp,
Griffin Richardson, and
Cameron Robinson skippered the boats with
Josh Cole,
Elissa Martinez,
Brooks Jordan, and Sofia Hacket as crew finishing with a 1-11 record.
EC collected a victory over the University of South Florida in the second round, with a 2-3-5 winning combination.
Connecticut College won the event with an 11-1 record.
Eckerd returns to the water next weekend at South Points #5 in Coral Gables, Florida.
