KANSAS CITY, Mo.- Eckerd men's basketball student-athletes,
David Swedura and
O'Shane Taylor-Douglas, were named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court as announced by the organization on Tuesday, July 27.
In order to be named to the Honors Court, a student-athlete must meet a high standard of academic criteria. To qualify, the player must academically be a junior or senior and a varsity player, hold a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.2 or higher at the conclusion of the 2020-21 academic year, and have matriculated at least one year at their current institution.
Taylor-Douglas, a management graduate, earns a repeat selection to the Honors Court, while Swedura, a business administration and sociology major, earned his first selection.
