WILMINGTON, NC - The Eckerd sailing team wrapped up its fall slate at the SAISA Coed Championships over the weekend, placing eighth with 175 points.
Sean Tallman (1-8) and
Cameron Robinson (9-12) shared skipper duties in the A Division with
Sophia Hacket (1-3, 9-12) and
Griffin Richardson (4-8) as crew for a ninth-place finish with 93 points. Their best finish of the event was a second-place finish by Tallman and Richardson in race four.
Eden Nykamp and
Amelia Johnson raced for the Tritons in the B Division, placing eighth with 82 points. The duo started strong with a second-place finish in the opening race and followed with a pair of third-place finishes in races six and seven.
The College of Charleston won the Championship with 79 points.
