RALEIGH, N.C. – Four members of the Eckerd sailing team have been named to the 2025-26 Southern Atlantic Intercollegiate Sailing Association All-Conference Teams, the league announced Saturday morning.
Jordan Vieira and
Paul Rodrigues Jr. were announced as Second Team All-SAISA in the Open Skipper category, while
Avery Guck and
Tia Soultanakis earned honors in the Crew category.
Managed by a volunteer committee, nominations have been accepted throughout the spring and reviewed for these individual awards covering the two seasons in review (Fall 25/Spring 26). The awards include first and second team All-SAISA Open (coed) Skippers; Women's Skippers; and Crew, as well as Sailors of the Year in each category; Rookies of the Year; Coach of the Year; Outstanding Sportsmanship Award; and Student Leader of the Year.
